Color Scheme Ideas

Not sure what colors to go with for the walls of your Apple Kitchen?  There are several things you will want to take into consideration before choosing what color to splash onto the walls!

First, the size of the room should be taken into consideration.  Well a green or red color are obvious choices for an apple kitchen theme, these colors are darker and might not work well in a smaller kitchen or one that isn't well lit. 

This doesn't mean that you have to totally shy away from red or green though if you have a small kitchen.  Instead, consider painting the bottom third of the wall one of these shades and the top two thirds white.  Divide the two sections with a chair rail or apple themed wall border.

Another thing to take into consideration is the color of your kitchen cabinetry.  You will want to pick a color that compliments the cabinets as well as your countertops.  This shouldn't be too hard to do, but when in doubt bring home some paint samples or swatches and see how they look before commiting to your final color or colors!

Finally, you may want to pick out your decor first before deciding on your paint colors.  There is a wide variety of apple kitchen decor available so you will find that the shade of the apples can vary from bright to darker.  This will no doubt factor into your decision when choosing a complimenting color for the walls of your kitchen.

If all else fails and you can't decide on a color, you could always wallpaper or paint the kitchen white and then dress up the walls with an apple wall border, some stenciled apples, or some apple decals!
